Deck overview

This mono-white deck focuses on Angel tribal synergies and lifegain triggers led by Lyra, Archangel of Dawn. The early turns focus on setting up low-cost lifegain engines like Soul Warden and mana accelerants such as Giada, Font of Hope. Once Lyra is deployed, every instance of lifegain distributes +1/+1 counters across all controlled Angels, rapidly growing an evasive aerial fleet. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by mid-game using powerful force multipliers like Righteous Valkyrie, Archangel of Thune, and True Conviction, or finishing games instantly with Akroma's Will. It protects its committed board state with efficient defensive instants like Flawless Maneuver and Guardian of Faith, while utilizing premier white removal such as Swords to Plowshares to neutralize key opposing threats.
