Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-green stompy deck led by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The primary strategy focuses on deploying over-statted, low-cost creatures like Steel Leaf Champion and Pugnacious Hammerskull during the first three turns to rapidly amass 10 to 12 total creature power. This huge power discount allows the deck to cast Ghalta from the command zone on Turn 4 for just two green mana. On Turn 5, Ghalta and its supporting squad begin swinging with trampling combat damage, dealing over 20 damage per turn and eliminating opponents sequentially through Turn 8. The list relies on heavy functional redundancy in mana dorks and aggressive bodies to ensure consistent starts. However, it completely lacks tutors, stack interaction, and dedicated stax pieces. As a result, the game plan is highly exposed to mass creature removal and requires surviving multiple opponent response cycles to close the game across a 4-player table.
