Yuriko budget brawler by Mrmontgomery

Format: Commander

Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Yuriko is a tempo-combo deck that wins by chaining ninjutsu triggers. Cheap evasive creatures like Ornithopter and Changeling Outcast are bounced to put Yuriko or other ninjas into play tapped and attacking; her trigger reveals high-mana-value cards such as Draco and Shadow of Mortality to drain all opponents. The secondary, faster path is a compact Oracle kill: Demonic Consultation, Tainted Pact, or Doomsday empties or nearly empties the library to enable Thassa's Oracle. The commander is the primary drain engine and card-advantage source, while the supporting ninjas and top-deck manipulation maintain pressure. There is no hidden commander; Satoru simply supports the ninja plan. Free counterspells and bounce protect both lines.
