Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-black Aristocrats and Reanimator strategy commanded by Liliana, Heretical Healer. It pairs classic sacrifice-and-drain loops with devastating asymmetric resource denial. The primary win condition combines Gravecrawler, a mana-generating sacrifice outlet like Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader, and a drain payoff such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Ayara, First of Locthwain, or The Meathook Massacre to drain the entire table in a single turn. Powerful black tutors including Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Entomb, and Buried Alive provide high consistency, while reanimation spells like Reanimate and Victimize cheat out game-ending threats like Razaketh, the Foulblooded and Bolas's Citadel. Proactive control elements such as Tergrid, God of Fright, Grave Pact, Dauthi Voidwalker, and Liliana planeswalkers strip opponent boards and hands. While vulnerable to instant-speed removal and lacking countermagic, the deck features exceptional graveyard recursion and multiple independent win conditions.
