fun group hug (slug) by user2394688

Format: Commander

Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Nekusar, the Mindrazer leads a classic Grixis wheel and group slug strategy designed to turn card draw into lethal damage. The deck accelerates into play with efficient mana rocks before establishing continuous draw engines and damage triggers like Underworld Dreams, Razorkin Needlehead, and Nekusar itself. From there, it unleashes symmetric wheel spells such as Whispering Madness and Winds of Change, or locks the table out with Notion Thief and Teferi's Puzzle Box. Damage multipliers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus accelerate the clock, while compact combos featuring Niv-Mizzet, Parun with Curiosity or Bloodchief Ascension with Mindcrank provide swift alternate win conditions.
