Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger strategy led by Prismari, the Inspiration. The game plan focuses on building mana with 2-CMC artifacts and creature ramp, then deploying burn amplifiers like Coruscation Mage, Thermo-Alchemist, and Longshot, Rebel Bowman. Once the 7-mana commander enters the battlefield, every subsequent instant and sorcery gains storm, allowing cheap cantrips and burn spells such as Lightning Bolt and Burst Lightning to duplicate rapidly. Combat-oriented payoffs like Balmor, Battlemage Captain and Tackle Artist turn high storm counts into overwhelming board-wide attacks. Card selection from Expressive Iteration and Stock Up keeps cards flowing, while efficient interaction like Abrade and Spell Pierce protects key plays and disrupts opponents. The deck relies on creature survival and requires careful mana management to execute its storm turns effectively.
