Wolverine, Best There Is is a Gruul commander-damage deck built around one principle: make Wolverine hit hard enough that his damage-doubling ability turns a single swing into a kill. The primary plan is to accelerate him out on turns 2-3, then stack cheap auras, equipment, and +1/+1-counter multipliers (Hardened Scales, Bone Sabres, Invigorating Hot Spring) until he can one-shot a player. Secondary paths use big enchantress- or counter-driven creatures (Managorger Hydra, Forgotten Ancient, Minsc & Boo) and extra-combat spells to pressure the table. Evasion from Rogue's Passage, Prowler's Helm, and Trailblazer's Boots makes kills reliable, and protection spells keep Wolverine on the battlefield.
