Format: Commander

Commander: Ardyn, the Usurper

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black Demon reanimator deck uses fast mana, entomb effects, and cost reducers to cheat high-impact Demons into play early. Ardyn, the Usurper acts as an expensive late-game value engine, granting Demons menace, lifelink, and haste while exiling graveyard targets to create attacking 5/5 Demon copies. The primary route to victory is deploying massive flying threats such as Vilis, Broker of Blood, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, and Archfiend of Despair ahead of curve. The deck can also pivot into alternative win conditions via Liliana's Contract or explosive life-loss doubling engines alongside Bloodletter of Aclazotz.
