Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black aristocrats combo build that pairs heavy creature attrition with deterministic life-drain win conditions. Led by Avacyn, Angel of Horror, the deck utilizes dense mana acceleration from pieces like Dark Ritual, Sol Ring, Jet Medallion, Crypt Ghast, and Cabal Coffers to deploy powerful card advantage engines including Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and The One Ring. The primary victory path revolves around assembling a two-card infinite combo by pairing Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Enduring Tenacity, Sanguine Bond, or Marauding Blight-Priest. Any single life-drain trigger immediately initiates an infinite damage loop that drains all three opponents to zero life simultaneously. Defensively, the list controls opposing boards through Grave Pact, asymmetric edicts, and efficient sweepers like Toxic Deluge. While highly resilient against creature-based strategies, the deck remains vulnerable to stack interaction, enchantment hate, and fast noncreature combo decks.
