Thorin by Lochieisloki77

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk turns every Dwarf into a Treasure and every artifact token into +1 power for the rest of the swarm. The deck's primary plan is to develop a wide Dwarf board, use Thorin's trigger to generate a massive Treasure hoard, then convert that hoard into an overwhelming alpha strike. Secondary lines are a commander-voltron game with Sting, Dwarven Mattock, and Greaves, and a Smaug the Magnificent alternate finisher that chips through with direct damage. The commander is both engine and multiplier; the only non-commander finisher that acts like a hidden win condition is Smaug. This is a midrange aggro build that wins in one large combat once artifact tokens and at least one anthem align.
