Deck overview

This is a Jund -1/-1 counter deck helmed by The Reaper, King No More, built to spread -1/-1 counters across the table and convert them into card advantage, tokens, and stolen creatures. The commander's theft trigger - grabbing any creature with a -1/-1 counter that dies - turns the deck's counter-spreading engines (Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Blowfly Infestation, Nest of Scarabs) into a relentless board-advantage machine. The primary win condition is a dense suite of infinite combos built around persist creatures: Melira, Sylvok Outcast plus Putrid Goblin and a sacrifice outlet loops forever, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed plus Murderous Redcap deals infinite damage, and death-payoff drains like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Goblin Bombardment convert those loops into a win. The deck also grinds value through The Meathook Massacre, Moldervine Reclamation, and the commander's theft, with tutors like Demonic Tutor and Vampiric Tutor assembling the kill.
