Gitrog by BiggieSauce

Format: Commander

Commander: The Gitrog Monster

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Gitrog Monster helms a Golgari midrange landfall deck that leverages land sacrifice, graveyard recursion, and explosive mana generation. Instead of dedicated infinite combo lines, the deck generates overwhelming card advantage by pairing land sacrificing triggers with Crucible of Worlds and Ancient Greenwarden. This massive resource pool allows you to build a lethal board state through token generators like Rampaging Baloths and Sapling Nursery, or by deploying massive threats such as Cultivator Colossus, Gruff Triplets, and Yargle and Multani. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage pushed through via trample enablers like Full Steam Ahead, Stonehoof Chieftain, and Garruk's Uprising.
