Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aura Voltron and Stax strategy led by Killian, Decisive Mentor. It uses cheap Auras to trigger Killian's ability, tapping down potential blockers and goading opposing threats while drawing cards whenever enchanted creatures attack. The deck controls the game tempo using rule-setting enchantments such as Rule of Law, Archon of Emeria, and Blind Obedience, which choke opponent spell volume. Meanwhile, the deck breaks parity by generating steady card advantage from combat and enchantress engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Pearl-Ear, Imperial Advisor. Killian rapidly grows into a lethal attacker using multiplicative enchantments like All That Glitters, Ethereal Armor, and Twinblade Blessing. Robust protection spells and flash Auras keep the primary threat safe from targeted removal. With sweepers like Winds of Rath and recursion like Retether, the deck steadily eliminates opponents one by one while maintaining complete control of combat.
