Format: Commander

Commander: Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos is the engine: every Phyrexian creature or artifact creature spell creates an Incubator token, and Phyrexian deaths feed proliferate. The deck is built to use Brimaz's front face; the double-faced Praetors are transformational finishers, not commanders. The primary plan is to chain Phyrexian spells into large Incubators, then turn them sideways while poison counters from toxic/infect creatures and spells (Ichor Rats, Infectious Inquiry, Vraska's Fall, Phyresis Outbreak) shorten the clock. Secondary paths are Bolas's Citadel's ten-permanent sacrifice drain and Realmbreaker fetching Praetors. The commander accelerates every path, but the deck has enough independent incubate and poison pieces to keep functioning if he is answered.
