Falling Nightmares Kill (Upgrade) by DroppinRain

Format: Commander

Commander: Braids, Arisen Nightmare

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a tightly focused mono-black aristocrats deck helmed by Braids, Arisen Nightmare. The primary game plan uses Braids' end-step trigger to force opponents to sacrifice permanents or take life loss and let you draw, while your own sacrifice outlets (Viscera Seer, Carrion Feeder, Ashnod's Altar) and death-trigger payoffs (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance) grind out incremental advantage. The deck's real power lies in its two infinite win conditions: the Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond / Bloodthirsty Conqueror life-drain loop and the Gravecrawler + Carrion Feeder + mana-producing sacrifice outlet (Ashnod's Altar) loop paired with a drain trigger. A dense tutor package (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Buried Alive, Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire) ensures reliable combo assembly, while Bolas's Citadel and Exsanguinate act as secondary finishers.
