Deck overview

This deck is a Temur synergy midrange build commanded by Loot, the Pathfinder. Loot provides immense raw utility through double strike, vigilance, haste, and three powerful exhaust modes: adding 3 mana, drawing 3 cards, or dealing 3 damage. The deck leverages the exhaust mechanic by pairing Loot with blink and flicker enablers such as Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, Displacer Kitten, Deadeye Navigator, and Sword of Hearth and Home. Each time Loot is exiled and returned to the battlefield, it enters as a new object with refreshed exhaust permissions, allowing you to draw bursts of cards and generate mana repeatedly. The deck converts this resource velocity into wide artifact and energy board states, creating flying Thopter tokens with Sai, Master Thopterist and Whirler Virtuoso, pumping armies with Pyrewood Gearhulk, and smashing through defenses with an unblockable Kappa Cannoneer to close out the game around Turn 8.
