Deck overview

This Gruul deck is an explosive hybrid of a dedicated Food Chain combo engine and a high-velocity artifact-token beatdown strategy led by Roxanne, Starfall Savant. Roxanne serves as an accelerated ramp engine, an interactive board-control piece via 2-damage Meteorite tokens, and a mana doubler for all artifact tokens. The deck's primary win condition is assembling Food Chain alongside Squee, the Immortal, generating infinite creature mana to recast Roxanne infinitely from the command zone and burn out all opponents with Meteorite enter-the-battlefield triggers on Turn 4. If the primary combo is disrupted, the deck smoothly transitions into a big-mana powerhouse, leveraging token multipliers like Parallel Lives, copy effects like Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, and devastating finishers such as Crackle with Power or Craterclaw Colossus. Robust protection spells like Veil of Summer, Heroic Intervention, and Bolt Bend safeguard key windows, while flexible removal keeps opposing threats in check.
