Commander: Super Shredder

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a single-minded mono-black aristocrats strategy helmed by Super Shredder, a commander that grows from every permanent leaving the battlefield. The primary plan is to generate value from death triggers, sacrifice creatures for mana and card draw, and drain opponents through Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. The deck can assemble infinite combos using Gravecrawler + a sacrifice outlet (Phyrexian Altar, Ashnod's Altar) + a drain payoff, or Pitiless Plunderer loops for infinite treasure and a Torment of Hailfire finish. It also packs powerful stax elements like Contamination and Braids, Cabal Minion to lock opponents out. The secondary win condition is Revel in Riches after a board wipe. Despite a strong recursion and engine density, the deck lacks premium tutors, making its combo assembly inconsistent and pushing its median win to the mid-game.
