Deck overview

This Golgari deck is an optimized token aristocrats strategy commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. The deck accelerates early using cheap mana dorks and rocks to deploy Chatterfang ahead of curve. Once Chatterfang is on the battlefield, every Food, Treasure, Clue, or creature token generated also produces a 1/1 Squirrel token, exponentially inflating board presence. The deck translates this token volume into mana via Jaheira, Friend of the Forest and Warren Soultrader, card advantage through Peregrin Took and Toski, Bearer of Secrets, and oppressive board control by sacrificing Squirrels to eliminate opposing threats. The primary win condition revolves around table-wide life drain using Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Master, Arnyn, Deathbloom Botanist, or infinite loops such as Experimental Confectioner with Peregrin Took, supported by wide combat overruns via Coat of Arms or Finale of Devastation.
