Deck overview

This deck is an activated-ability combo-engine build helmed by Tazri, Stalwart Survivor with Zirda, the Dawnwaker as a companion. Its main win condition generates infinite mana by combining multi-color mana dorks such as Bloom Tender and Faeburrow Elder with untap auras like Pemmin's Aura and Freed from the Real. Once infinite mana is available, Tazri digs through the library to find lethal outlets, allowing players to machine-gun opponents with Hateflayer or pump the board to lethal power with Kenrith, the Returned King. A secondary Gate package offers an alternate win condition through Maze's End and Reshape the Earth. The deck produces strong mana velocity and card draw through discounted activated abilities, but its reliance on un-tutored auras and lack of counterspells leaves its execution vulnerable to well-timed spot removal.
