Commander: Animar, Soul of Elements

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Temur combo-value deck built around Animar, Soul of Elements as a cost-reduction engine. The game plan is to land Animar early, chain cheap creatures to stack +1/+1 counters on him, then use his discount to break a creature loop wide open. The cleanest win is Simic Ascendancy after an Ancestral Statue loop makes Animar arbitrarily large; a hasty, unblockable Animar powered by Swiftfoot Boots and Rogue's Passage is the combat backup. A secondary infinite-mana line using Peregrine Drake with Temur Sabertooth or Equilibrium feeds the same payoffs. When the combo is not assembled, the deck can still take over through +1/+1 counter synergies like Master Biomancer, Renegade Krasis, Forgotten Ancient, and Tishana, Voice of Thunder.
