Deck overview

This mono-blue deck revolves around Orvar, the All-Form, turning cheap single-target targeting spells into powerful permanent duplication engines. The primary game plan seeks to assemble Orvar alongside a high-output mana permanent, such as Gilded Lotus, and a repeatable targeting spell with buyback like Whim of Volrath or Clockspinning. Once resolved, this combination generates infinite mana and copies of any permanent on the board. The deck uses a dense network of Transmute and Wizardcycling tutors to locate missing pieces reliably. Supporting pieces such as Spellseeker, Transit Mage, and Aether Channeler provide modular utility, tutoring, and card draw. Protection is a major strength: numerous 1-mana instant-speed hexproof and phase-out spells both shield Orvar from opposing removal and trigger additional permanent copies. Once infinite mana is established, loops with Venser, Shaper Savant bounce all opposing permanents and stack spells, creating an insurmountable hard lockout that seals victory.
