Commander: The Lord of the Eagles

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-blue flying midrange deck helmed by The Lord of the Eagles, an 8/8 Flash finisher that discounts itself by the total power of your flyers. The plan is to flood the board with cheap Birds, Faeries, Drakes, and Spirits, layer anthems and token makers, then drop the commander for a discounted haymaker while holding up interaction. Primary wins come from evasive combat-go-wide tokens plus lords, a scaled Tempest Djinn, or Stormtide Leviathan locking the ground-supported by a dense suite of bounce, counters, and cantrips. The commander is a powerful closer rather than an engine: the 99 already plays as a cohesive flying-aggro/control deck with card selection, flash threats, and stack interaction, so the strategy does not collapse if the Eagle stays in the command zone.
