Niv-Mizzet V2 by Stijnwildschut

Format: Commander

Commander: Niv-Mizzet, Parun

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Niv-Mizzet, Parun leads a dedicated Izzet spellslinger and combo deck built around spell velocity, card advantage, and instant-speed interaction. The primary win condition is attaching Curiosity to Niv-Mizzet, Parun. Once attached, dealing damage triggers a card draw, which causes Niv-Mizzet to deal another damage, looping through the deck to eliminate all opponents or win with Thassa's Oracle. Secondary lines leverage storm engines and Magecraft damage using Guttersnipe, Vivi Ornitier, and Grapeshot fueled by rituals like Mana Geyser and Storm-Kiln Artist. With an extensive counterspell package and cheap cantrips, the deck controls the stack until it safely resolves its commander and executes the combo.
