Deck overview

This deck is a four-color cascade midrange deck commanded by Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder. The deck accelerates its mana across the opening two turns using cheap dorks, land ramps, and artifacts, setting up a Turn 3 or 4 Yidris deployment. By securing combat connections using unblockable auras or shroud equipment, Yidris gives every spell cast from hand cascade. The deck then chains spells into free zero-mana suspend payoffs, large cascade bombs, and exile damage engines like Keeper of Secrets and Passionate Archaeologist. While the primary plan relies on commander combat damage, the list includes powerful standalone engines such as Maelstrom Wanderer, Apex Devastator, and Bolas's Citadel that can take over the game independently. The interaction suite is versatile and broad, answering key threats while the deck generates overwhelming card advantage and board presence to close out games across Turns 6 and 7.
