New Untitled Deck

Format: Commander

Commander: Toxrill, the Corrosive

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir control/combo list helmed by Toxrill, the Corrosive, using its -1/-1 counter accumulation to dominate the board while generating Slug tokens for card draw. The primary game plan involves deploying Toxrill to slow opponents, then assembling one of several infinite combos - Bloodchief Ascension + Mindcrank, or mana loops via Ashnod's Altar/Pitiless Plunderer with token generators - and finishing with Exsanguinate or Torment of Hailfire. Reanimation from Entomb/Buried Alive to Reanimate/Animate Dead provides value and redundancy. A suite of counterspells, board wipes, and pillowfort (Propaganda, No Mercy) protects the engine. The commander is a key advantage piece but not strictly required for the combos.
