Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari midrange strategy centered on Killmonger, Scourge of Wakanda. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap deathtouch creatures and fodder, sacrificing them to trigger Killmonger's enter-the-battlefield ability, and controlling opposing threats while filling the graveyard. In the early turns, mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and small creatures like Typhoid Rats establish early presence. On Turn 4, Killmonger enters to destroy a problematic nonland permanent, becoming a 5/4 attacker. During the mid-to-late game, the deck leverages aristocrat drain effects from Falkenrath Noble, forced sacrifices via The Serpent Society, and card advantage through Kraven the Hunter and Carnage Altar.
