Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck centers on casting high-impact noncreature spells to power up and transform The Emperor of Palamecia into The Lord Master of Hell. Once transformed, the commander converts a packed graveyard into lethal multi-player burn through repeated Starfall attack triggers. The supporting shell uses efficient Treasure generation, card velocity, and Opus payoff creatures like Thunderdrum Soloist to maintain card advantage and chip away at opposing life totals. A compact interaction package featuring Hullbreaker Horror, Mindbreak Trap, and targeted counterspells protects the board while controlling dangerous opposing turns. If the commander is answered, the deck easily pivots to explosive storm turns via Prismari, the Inspiration or the infinite mana and exile loop of Jeska's Will and Reiterate.
