Deck overview

Kros, Defense Contractor leads a Bant counter/proliferate deck. The primary plan is to stack +1/+1 counters, shield counters, and stun counters while Kros goads and grants trample to every counter-bearing opponent creature; Nils, Propaganda, and Ghostly Prison keep attacks away. Proliferate engines-Inexorable Tide, Flux Channeler, and Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres-quickly accumulate growth counters on Simic Ascendancy, the main alternative win. Functionally, Ezuri is the hidden commander: every proliferate draws a card, making the deck hum. Chulane supplies extra draw/ramp, and if the Ascendancy line is disrupted, a trampling goaded board plus Willbreaker theft and Duelist's Heritage provides a combat fallback.
