(Queen Marchesa) God save the queen by fortunecookie198

Format: Commander

Commander: Queen Marchesa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Queen Marchesa leads a Mardu monarch attrition deck. Its primary plan is to become monarch early, keep the crown with tax and protection pieces, and turn the monarchy into a compounding war of attrition: Courts drain, burn, and create tokens while Assemble the Legion builds an unstoppable army. Secondary paths include commander damage with The Reaver Cleaver and Sephiroth, mass reanimation with Rise of the Dark Realms, and pillow-fort control with Solitary Confinement and Sphere of Safety. The commander is the cheapest repeatable monarch enabler, creates hasty Assassins when dethroned, and carries equipment well. There is no double-faced commander; the hidden commander is effectively Assemble the Legion, since the deck's best token plan revolves around it.
