Deck overview

This deck is helmed by The Unluckiest Planeswalker, utilizing its unique deckbuilding ability to combine multi-colored Auras and Curses with a resilient red base. The strategy centers on establishing early mana acceleration through low-cost enchantments like Wild Growth and Fertile Ground, deploying defensive Curses and goad effects to redirect opposing aggression, and leveraging the commander's loyalty abilities. The +1 ability fixes mana and produces defensive Gremlin blockers, while the -3 ability provides a massive card draw burst based on the number of Auras you control. Once the hand is refilled, the deck transitions into decisive win conditions, most notably the infinite damage loop between Brash Taunter and Guilty Conscience, or explosive burns via Heartless Hidetsugu and damage multipliers. While the deck boasts immense draw potential and potent asymmetric restriction, it remains vulnerable to early stack-based combos due to a low density of instant-speed interaction and countermagic.
