Elf Commander Deck

Format: Commander

Commander: High Perfect Morcant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elf tribal deck helmed by High Perfect Morcant, built around a wide board of Elves that both beats down and drains opponents through Shaman of the Pack, Lathril, Blade of the Elves, and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. The commander adds a -1/-1 counter subtheme: every Elf ETB "blights" an opponent, and Morcant's tap-three-Elves ability proliferates those counters (and +1/+1 counters on Marwyn, the Nurturer and friends). The primary finish is Craterhoof Behemoth found via Chord of Calling or Fierce Empath, with Ezuri, Renegade Leader's overrun as a backup. The deck is a fair, creature-concentrated beatdown list with a dense mana-dork package that ramps into a big turn-6-7 swing.
