Deck overview

Namor the Sub-Mariner turns every cheap blue noncreature spell into 1/1 Merfolk tokens, then layers anthem lords and unblockable effects into one or two lethal swings. Because Namor's power equals the number of Merfolk you control, he is simultaneously a flying commander-damage threat and a payoff for the swarm. A dense counterspell suite protects the developing board, while cantrips and draw engines keep feeding Namor's trigger. Omniscience can convert a late-game hand into a huge spell chain, and Intruder Alarm plus Deeproot Pilgrimage generate extra untaps and hexproof tokens. The deck is built around Namor's token production, with no hidden double-faced commander.
