The Power of Monke by riledantics

Format: Commander

Commander: Kibo, Uktabi Prince

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Gruul Ape/Monkey tribal midrange deck helmed by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. The plan is to deploy Kibo early, distribute Banana tokens, then systematically destroy opponents' artifacts-including those Bananas-to flood the board with +1/+1 counters on every Ape and Monkey. Counter-doublers (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Primal Vigor, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, The Earth Crystal) turn each artifact death into exponential growth, while a dense suite of naturalize effects and ETB destroyers keeps the trigger online. Primary wins come from overwhelming combat with trampling, hard-to-block apes backed by anthems and power-matters draw. There are no infinite combos; the deck closes through fair, scaled-up beatdown and opportunistic one-sided artifact wipes via Vandalblast.
