Deck overview

Ratonhnhake ton| leads an Esper Equipment/Assassin strategy, blending evasion and recursion. The commander is hexproof and unblockable until it deals damage; on connect, it creates a 1/1 black Assassin token with menace and returns an Equipment from the graveyard onto that token. The deck aims to suit up the commander (or a secondary beater) with heavy Equipment like Kaldra Compleat and Colossus Hammer, while Sram, Senior Edificer and Puresteel Paladin provide card-draw and free equips. Secondary win layers include an Assassin army enhanced by Ramses, Assassin Lord and the token-doubling of Arna Kennerud, Skycaptain. Combat damage is the primary path, but the deck can also win through repeated recursion spells like Mantle of the Ancients once a large equipment suite is built.
