Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet spellslinger and burn strategy commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan revolves around casting a high density of low-cost instants and sorceries to trigger Vivi's ability, which simultaneously pings all opponents and places +1/+1 counters on Vivi. Once Vivi's power grows, its activated ability taps into a massive one-time burst of red and blue mana each turn, accelerating expensive follow-up spells and damage multipliers. The deck transitions from early cantrip sculpting into explosive mid-game turns powered by damage doublers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, trigger amplifiers like Harmonic Prodigy, and card engines like Curiosity or Virtue of Courage. It closes games decisively around Turn 6 with massive burn finishers such as Chandra's Ignition, high-storm Grapeshot, or the infinite damage combo of Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity. While vulnerable to targeted commander removal, the deck's high card velocity and efficient countermagic provide solid resilience.
