Deck overview

This deck utilizes Jace, Multiverse Architect as a repeatable polymorph engine from the command zone. The game plan focuses on generating low-cost creature tokens during the opening turns using efficient permanents like Skrelv's Hive, Staff of the Storyteller, and Champions from Beyond. Once Jace enters on Turn 4, his minus 3 loyalty ability immediately exiles a token to reveal and cheat devastating high-mana-value creatures directly onto the battlefield, including Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Lord Xander, the Collector, and Avacyn, Angel of Horror. Redundant cheat spells such as Mass Polymorph, Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast, and Sneak Attack provide resilience against commander removal. The deck leverages topdeck manipulation via Brainstorm and Brainsurge to return drawn payoffs to the library while packing solid creature-based interaction and sweepers to control opposing boards until massive evasive beaters and damage multipliers like Archfiend of Despair close out the game.
