Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mardu Reanimator and Aristocrats engine led by Terra, Herald of Hope. The game plan focuses on filling the graveyard quickly through self-mill, discard enablers, and targeted entomb effects. Terra provides built-in evasion and recurring reanimation for small creatures directly to the battlefield upon dealing combat damage. The deck leverages this capability to deploy key utility creatures, sacrifice outlets, and combo enablers ahead of curve. Once the graveyard and battlefield are prepared, the deck closes the game on Turn 5 using infinite sacrifice loops—most notably Murderous Redcap combined with Luminous Broodmoth and a free sacrifice outlet like Altar of Dementia or Warren Soultrader. Robust protection spells like Grand Abolisher, Flare of Fortitude, and Teferi's Protection defend the combo against interaction, while a dense suite of flexible Mardu spot removal controls opposing threats.
