Zagras Recursion by Hyperhammer65

Format: Commander

Commander: Zagras, Thief of Heartbeats

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Zagras turns the deck's many one-damage tap abilities into repeatable deathtouch removal, and his flying and haste make him a natural finisher with Vorpal Sword. The primary plan is pinger-control: establish a cheap party, discount Zagras, clear the board with deathtouch pings, then win with the Barbed Servitor + Blazing Sunsteel damage loop. A secondary path suits Zagras with Vorpal Sword for a one-shot kill. Looters and reanimation keep the engine going, while Taurean Mauler and Burakos provide the full-party discount that powers both the commander and Coveted Prize. It is fundamentally a creature-based midrange deck with almost no stack interaction.
