Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Mardu exile-matters deck is helmed by Fire Lord Zuko, whose second ability turns every cast-from-exile and every permanent entering from exile into +1/+1 counters across the entire board, while his firebending generates red mana on attack that scales with his power. The deck chains a dense suite of exile engines - Prosper, Tome-Bound, Etali, Primal Storm, Dragonhawk, Fate's Tempest, Chandra, Torch of Defiance, Inti, Seneschal of the Sun, and Party Thrasher - to cast spells from exile, grow a wide counter-laden board, and finish through combat plus burn from Purphoros, God of the Forge, All Will Be One, and Dragonhawk's end-step damage. A deep airbend/blink package (Eerie Interlude, Cosmic Intervention, Cloudshift, Aang, Airbending Master, Appa, Steadfast Guardian) provides both value and wipe protection. The deck wins through incremental combat inevitability rather than combo.
