Deck overview

This mono-red deck harnesses Avatar Roku, Firebender to convert attack steps into massive bursts of red mana and lethal commander damage. Backed by 38 lands, early Treasure generators, and cost reducers, the deck aims to deploy Roku on Turn 5. Once operational on Turn 6, attacking immediately yields six red mana to activate firebreathing pumps and fuel devastating combat spells like Embercleave, Karlach, Fury of Avernus, and Savage Beating. Complementing the primary Voltron plan is an extensive goad package featuring Disrupt Decorum, Bothersome Quasit, and Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos, which forces opponents into mutual combat attrition while stripping their ability to block. Robust protection in the form of Deflecting Swat, Bolt Bend, and Commander's Plate shields Roku from targeted interaction, allowing the deck to methodically eliminate the entire table across consecutive turns.
