Vampires by user5819035

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Edgar Markov leads a Mardu Vampire swarm that uses Eminence to turn every Vampire spell into two bodies. The primary plan is to deploy cheap Vampires, stack lord effects, and convert a wide board into combat damage and life drain. Secondary paths include Blood-token card advantage, Strefan's attack cheat, and ETB burn from Purphoros and Impact Tremors. Edgar himself is an optional finisher: his haste and attack trigger pump the team, but the deck functions with him in the command zone. There is no infinite combo; wins come from critical-mass attacks, Sanctum Seeker/Blood Artist drain, and Purphoros triggers. The hidden commander is effectively the Eminence token engine plus the lord package.
