Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis discard-and-drain deck helmed by Kefka, Court Mage. The core plan is to force opponents to discard - via Kefka's enter/attack triggers, wheels, Tinybones, Bauble Burglar, and Entropic Battlecruiser - then punish every discarded card with a dense wall of drain payoffs: Liliana's Caress, Megrim, Fell Specter, Waste Not, Monument to Endurance, Nekusar, the Mindrazer, Scrawling Crawler, and Razorkin Needlehead. Kefka's front side draws a card for each card type discarded, and his back side, Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, draws for every life opponents lose during your turn - converting the drain into enormous card advantage. Secondary lines include reanimation (Reanimate, Rise of the Dark Realms, Archon of Cruelty) and flicker value (Conjurer's Closet, Deadeye Navigator, Y'shtola Rhul, Ghostly Flicker). The deck wins by grinding opponents down incrementally rather than through a fast combo.
