Izzet - Captain Howler by Davenex

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain Howler, Sea Scourge

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Captain Howler, Sea Scourge commands an aggressive Izzet tempo and burn strategy centered around massive card velocity and discard triggers. The deck leverages looters, cantrips, and wheel effects like Windfall and Wheel of Fortune to pump Captain Howler or other attackers into lethal threats while refilling your hand. Complementing combat lines are potent burn engines such as Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Brallin, Skyshark Rider, and Psychosis Crawler that damage the entire table whenever cards are discarded or drawn. High-impact finishers like Chandra's Ignition, Temur Battle Rage, and Underworld Breach loops provide resilient, multi-angle paths to wipe out all opponents simultaneously.
