Format: Commander

Commander: Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Arixmethes heads a Simic sea-monster beatdown deck. The plan is to ramp into Arixmethes, use it as a two-color mana land while cheap spells remove its slumber counters, then cast or cheat out Kraken/Leviathan/Octopus/Serpent threats. Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep acts as a near-hidden commander by letting each big sea-monster spell chain into another free spell. Combat is made unblockable with Serpent of Yawning Depths and Islandwalk, while Spawning Kraken and both Komas turn one hit into a lethal token swarm. There is no true combo; the deck wins by exponential sea-monster combat over two big attack steps.
