Deck overview

This Sultai deck pairs Reyhan, Last of the Abzan and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to create an exponential +1/+1 counter engine. Reyhan moves counters whenever a creature dies, and Sakashima enters as a copy of Reyhan while ignoring the legend rule. With multiple Reyhans in play, every creature death triggers each Reyhan separately, doubling or tripling counters across the board. The 99 supports this core with extensive clone effects, counter multipliers like Branching Evolution, and high-power draw engines like Greater Good. The deck protects its setup using targeted hexproof, countermagic, and The Ozolith. It wins by scaling creatures into double-digit power and either pushing through unblockable combat damage with Herald of Secret Streams or draining all three opponents simultaneously with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord.
