Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Spellslinger Burn strategy centered on Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The game plan deploys low-cost Wizard creatures and token generators on early turns, casts Kuja on Turn 4, and transforms him into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied by reaching four controlled Wizards at the end step. Once transformed, Kuja doubles all damage dealt by Wizards. On Turns 5 and 6, the deck converts cheap noncreature spells, cantrips, and spot removal into massive table-wide burn triggers through Kuja, Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Harmonic Prodigy. The list features high redundancy among burn engines and efficient interaction against opposing creatures and artifacts. However, it lacks dedicated fast mana, runs a high proportion of tapped lands, and features minimal protection for its creature-dense board, leaving it vulnerable to mass board wipes and enchantment-based strategies.
