Toxrill, the Corrosive

Format: Commander

Commander: Toxrill, the Corrosive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Dimir deck builds around Toxrill, the Corrosive and a -1/-1 counter engine to grind the table down. Toxrill puts a slime counter on each opposing creature every end step, shrinking boards while creating Slugs when those creatures die. You amplify this with wither, proliferate, and counter doublers to spread -1/-1 counters quickly. Nest of Scarabs, Blowfly Infestation and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician turn counters and deaths into Insects and cards, while Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Syr Konrad, Massacre Wurm and Scheming Aspirant drain opponents. Revel in Riches provides a separate Treasure win when creatures die.
