Deck overview

Slicer, Hired Muscle // Slicer, High-Speed Antagonist leads a fast mono-red artifact-voltron deck. The deck is built around the cheap vehicle face: cast Slicer via More Than Meets the Eye for {2}{R}, attack with haste and first strike, then use its upkeep trigger to flip between the double-striking creature face and the living-metal vehicle. Cheap Equipment such as Hero's Heirloom and O-Naginata push Slicer to a two- or three-hit commander-damage kill, while Akki Battle Squad, Goldspan Dragon, and Chandra provide acceleration, extra combat, or backup reach. Hellkite Tyrant offers an alternate artifact-based finish. The plan is fast, linear, and artifact-heavy, so protecting Slicer and timing Equip activations matter more than pure card volume.
