Deck overview

Longshot, Rebel Bowman commands a high-velocity Mono-Red spellslinger deck built to convert noncreature spell casts into overwhelming table-wide burn. Longshot reduces the cost of noncreature spells by {1} while dealing two damage to each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast. The deck leverages efficient mana rocks and rituals like Jeska's Will and Seething Song to accelerate development. Once assembled, the list executes explosive turns powered by Virtue of Courage and Underworld Breach, or resolves compact infinite combos. The primary win condition pairs Dualcaster Mage with Molten Duplication or Electroduplicate to generate infinite hasty attackers, while Storm-Kiln Artist and Haze of Rage create infinite mana and storm triggers. Protective spells such as Deflecting Swat, Pyroblast, and Return the Favor defend the combo windows, providing a swift and lethal game plan that closes games by Turn 4.
